What happens if I no longer want to buy this property?
If the aspiring homeowner no longer wishes to buy the property there are three options:
1) They can offer their equity to their investment partner. I.e. they can be bought out at a price that is suitable to both parties
2) If both parties agree, the property can be rented out to a third person and the rent is split based on the ownership split
3) The property is put on the market to be sold. In this scenario, the investment partner reserves the right to match any winning bids and buy out the tenant at the winning price.
